Ian Kruger is a second generation nurse practitioner who began his medical career as a paramedic. After graduating with a bachelors of science in nursing from the University of Colorado, he spent several years working as a nurse in a busy trauma intensive care unit. Pemberton’s sense of community and proximity to adventure inspired him and his wife Suzi to move here in 2009. Since then, the two have worked as registered nurses in the community emergency department. Ian trained as a nurse practitioner at the University of Victoria and joined Pemberton Medical Clinic in 2023.
When not at work, Ian enjoys adventuring with Suzi and their dogs Pepper and Willow.
